Digital Television

From April 7th 2010, our corner of the UK will be receiving digital TV only, running off the Ubley transmitter.

The following channels will be available from Freeview...

Campers on Full Service pitches will be able to get these channels by plugging into their Full Service post, while campers on Hard Standing pitches will need a group A aerial mounted for vertical polarisation. Please note that round Status aerials are prone to picking up interference which may prevent you picking up a signal & that while you do not need special equipment to pick up digital TV (apart from the Freeview box), the signal is much less tolerant of faults than with analogue.

Note: Whilst our official transmitter is Ubley, which carries a reduced range of digital channels, some guests may be able to receive the neighbouring Mendip transmitter which has a wider range of channels, unfortunately its signal is not strong enough for us to be able to amplify and distribute.
